The terms and conditions listed in this document are explicitly for rental of StrideOn mobility equipment.

Renter – Refers to the person either using and or paying for the use of the equipment
Hire period – The period booked by the hirer
Courier – Refers to the nominated carrier of StrideOn Ltd equipment

Hire Period

The minimum hire period is 2 weeks.
The hire period commences on the scheduled day of arrival identified in the rental confirmation document. In the event the equipment arrives late through no fault of the Renter, StrideOn Ltd will adjust the start date to reflect this. It is the Renter's responsibility to advise StrideOn Ltd on the day it was scheduled to arrive.
The hire period expires on the specified end date identified in the rental confirmation email unless adjusted for a delayed arrival.
Extension of a Hire Period
In the event the Renter needs to extend their period of rental they will need to email a request to rentals@strideon.co.uk or call on 01823 216202, 24 hours before the hire period ends. StrideOn Ltd endeavours to alert the Renter by email prior to the end date that the hire period is due, but the onus remains with the Renter.
Termination of a Hire Period
Termination of a hire period must be done 24 hours before the end rental date by email or by phone to allow arrangements to be made for the courier to collect.
The equipment must be collected by StrideOn Ltd’s courier no later than 1 working day after the due date. In the event the equipment cannot be collected through no fault of StrideOn or its courier a daily charge maybe be applied of £9.00 inclusive of VAT.
Early Hire Period Return
In the event the Renter finds the equipment unsuitable they may, within the first 4 days from the start of the rental period, return it by alerting StrideOn Ltd by phone no later than the 4th day of hire. Once the equipment has been safely returned and inspected a full refund will be credited to the Renter less the combined delivery and collection charge of £24.00 and any expedited courier charges.
In the event The Renter wishes to return the equipment before the due date (after the 2-week minimum period has expired) they will receive a refund for each full unused week less the 2-week minimum and any discounts that would no longer qualify.

Equipment

Use of Equipment
The Renter is entitled to use StrideOn Ltd equipment for the paid rental period within the safety and operating guidelines provided in the User Guide and on safety labels applied to the equipment.

StrideOn Ltd reserves the right to charge for any damage deemed as wilful. If a Renter does not follow the packing instructions provided and damage to the equipment occurs in transit because of it, this will be considered as wilful damage and charges may be levied to the Renters account as a result.
