• StrideOn Knee Walkers used by Gloucester Rugby Team

  • Our knee walkers are used by a number of sports people and organisations in the UK recovering from injury and/or surgery. On this occasion StrideOn Ltd is happy to be helping one of the major rugby teams Gloucester and most recently their player, Jack Singleton.

    About Gloucester Rugby

Gloucester Rugby is a professional English rugby union club situated in Gloucester and formed in 1873. It now plays in the domestic Premiership, the Anglo-Welsh Cup and the European Professional Club Rugby competitions. They play at the Kingsholm Stadium and are also known as the Cherry and Whites.

You can find out more about them on their website here >

    About Jack Singleton’s injury

Following a recent fixture with Northampton Saints, unfortunately, Jack Singleton suffered a significant lower leg injury.

The hooker sustained the injury in a tackle in the 32nd minute of the Cherry & Whites’ win over the Saints.

Singleton underwent surgery on Monday evening and will now work closely with the Gloucester Rugby medical team during this rehabilitation period and will be using the StrideOn Orthomate knee walker to help with his recovery.

Why use the StrideOn Orthomate knee walker?

The Orthomate Knee scooter is robust and with its pneumatic tyres it can negotiate the lumps and bumps when out and about. The Orthomate is the best cross between an indoor and outdoor machine available on the market today.

It is easy to assemble requiring no tools, fully adjustable and most importantly easy to use. It has a powerful brake you can lock, so you can use your hands for everyday tasks.
