We very rarely have refurbished knee walkers available for sale. When we do, they go quickly. Right now, we have a small number of fully refurbished StrideOn and Orthomate models available to purchase, and we wanted to make sure our customers knew about it before stocks run out.

We take great care of our knee walkers. When a unit comes back to us, it goes through a thorough inspection and refurbishment process before it is ever offered for sale. This means checking every component, replacing anything that needs replacing, cleaning and testing the unit, and ensuring it meets our standards before it leaves us again.
What you receive is a knee walker that works exactly as it should, at a price that reflects its previous use rather than any compromise in quality or safety.

Which models are available?
We currently have both the StrideOn and the Orthomate available in refurbished condition.
The StrideOn is our flagship indoor and paved surface knee walker. It is ideal for post-surgery and injury recovery where most of your time will be spent at home or on smooth surfaces. Lightweight, manoeuvrable and easy to live with day to day.
The Orthomate is our better-for-outdoors knee scooter, built for those who need to get outside and keep moving across a variety of surfaces. If you want to walk the dog, visit friends, navigate lightly-uneven ground or simply want to be less housebound during recovery, the Orthomate is designed for exactly that.

Why does this not happen very often?
Our knee walkers are built to last, which is part of what makes this opportunity a little unusual. We hire and sell a high volume of units, and those that come back to us are carefully assessed.
Only a small number meet the standard we require for resale, and that means availability is genuinely limited.
When these go, they are gone.
Buying versus hiring. Is this right for you?
For some people, hiring remains the right choice, particularly if the recovery period is short or uncertain. But if you have a longer recovery ahead, are using a knee walker for an ongoing condition, or simply prefer the flexibility of owning your own equipment, buying a refurbished model can make a great deal of sense.
